The 100/1000Mbps SFP Media Converter is designed to connect Ethernet equipment with fiber optic networks for reliable data transmission. It supports 100Mbps and 1000Mbps operation in full-duplex mode on both the TX and FX interfaces. The copper TX port supports Auto MDI/MDIX, helping simplify network connections without worrying about cable type. The FX side offers selectable Force or Auto transfer mode and supports hot swapping for easier maintenance. Depending on the selected fiber setup, the converter can extend network links from 550m or 2km with multi-mode fiber to distances of up to 120km with single-mode fiber.
