It splits one incoming optical signal into four output fibers, making it suitable for small to medium fiber distribution setups. This splitter is built using PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) technology, which ensures low insertion loss, stable performance, and uniform signal distribution across all four output ports. It helps maintain consistent optical performance in passive optical networks. The unit comes in a steel tube (tube type) form factor with 0.9mm fiber and 1-meter pigtail length, allowing easy fusion splicing into fiber distribution boxes (FDB), optical distribution frames (ODF), and network enclosures.
